Usual summertime activities can include: yummy breakfast on weekends, games, movies, ice cream events, hay rides, water wars, treasure hunts, bon fires, craft projects, tie dying, and more...

Cinco De Mayo Weekend

Help celebrate! Grab your sombrero's & join in the fun. Saturday - pinata fun for kids, taco special dinner. Learn the hat dance!

May 7-9
Mother's Day Weekend

Great fun at Hershey Park this weekend! At camp- don't make Mom cook. Saturday take her to Breakfast- Moms eat for 1/2 price. Flowers for all Moms at the Saturday evenings Hawaiian Party!

Celebrate Armed Forces Day

At Harrisburg's City Island- displays & free activities for the whole family. Start the day with our Great American Pancake Breakfest!

May 28-31
Memorial Weekend

Kick off Memorial Weekend with your family! Great area-wide events. At our camp- Friday for check-in our kitchen will be open, pizza & Ck dinners available for arrivals. Polar Bear Plunge opens our pool for the season. Bring your picnic basket while at the Fishing Derby -Saturday, put together your own Pine Derby car and race it in Sundays race. Hayrides!

June 18-20
Father's Day Weekend

A great way to honor your Dad with a camp out! "Best Dad" essay contest w/ prize. Fishing rodeo, bring a white t-shirt to tie dye for Dad, and good old fashioned rootbeer floats.

July 2-4
July 4th America's Party Weekend!

Show your patriotism- decorate your site in red & white for a grand o'le prize. Area-wide firework displays, join in at Harrisburg's "American Music Fest" at City Island- with food, childrens rides, games, music-music-music. Enjoy our many traditional camp activities.

July 23-25
Pirates Adventure Weekend

Yo-Ho-Ho campwide flea market- set out your booty treasures to sell at your site. Bring your water pistols for Saturday's water gun battle, peg leg race, treasure scavenger hunt.

August 20-22
Carnival Time!

Prize-raffle! Games, face painting, food, fun! Participate for a good cause- the KOA Care Camps for Kids with Cancer. Make your own Sundaes. Fun!

September 3-5
Labor Day

Kick off the Labor Day weekend with your family Kamping! Hershey Park is a great time for all! Enjoy our many traditional kamp activities. Try chocolate chip pancakes in the morning & our chocolate sundae social in the evening.

September-October
The Life of Leisure

Time to wind down and enjoy plain old fashioned camping- enjoy a game of hoops or volleyball by day, relax around the campfire as dusk falls. Watch the leaves change (usually around the first week in October) in the Autumn sun. Visit the many fall festivals or farmers markets in the area, travel the Amish area in the heart of the Pennsylvania Dutch Country or cultural historical sites- then enjoy a peaceful night's rest . Ahh- those memories!

 

 

SORRY, we NO LONGER operate a shuttle to HersheyPark

If you need transportation to HersheyPark we suggest you reserve a rental car through Enterprise. They will pick you up at the campground and make drop off arrangements, too.
