Planned 2015 Campground Summer Events
Make your reservation online early for our busy summer season. There are all kinds of activities going on during this time that you won't want to miss out on! Usual summertime (June-Aug) activities can include: yummy pancake breakfasts on weekends, games, movies, ice cream events, wagon rides, water wars, treasure hunts, fishing derbies, bon fires, craft projects, tie dying, and more...
April 11-12- Hershey's Springtime in the Park
Come and enjoy a relaxing weekend at the campground or go out and enjoy Hershey's Springtime in the Park!
May 8-10- Mothers Day Weekend
Take mom on a camping adventure, relaxing by the fire or making her a craft during craft time! Don't let mom cook, bring her to our Mothers Day breakfast!
May 23-25th- 48th Annual Artfest-Harrisburg
Over 250 artists and craftspeople gather in Harrisburg Riverfront Park for the annual Patriot-News Artfest. Food, live performances and kids activies make it a fun day out with the family.
May 22-24- Memorial Weekend > 3 night minimum
Great area wide events going on. At our camp, enjoy our ice cream social ($) and a family movie night. The polar bear plunge opens our pool for the season. Bring your picnic basket while at the fishing derby.
June 19-21- Fathers Day Weekend
Kid's camp free! A great way to honor your dad with a camp out weekend! Bring a white t-shirt to tie-dye for him, fishing rodeo and good old fashioned root beer floats are planned. Take him to play a round of horseshoes or just let him relax by the fire. Come and enjoy a wonderful breakfast prepared especially for your dad's.
July 1-July 5- America's Birthday Week! > 3 night minimum
Show your patriotism-decorate your site in red, white and blue to earn yourself a grand ole prize! Area wide firework displays, join in at Harrisburg's "American Music Fest" at City Island- with food, children's rides, games, music and more. You can also enjoy Hershey's Orchestra followed by their own firework show! Enjoy our many traditional summer camp activities such as wagon rides, craft time and ice cream socials.
July 17-19- Pirates Adventure Weekend
Yo-Ho-Ho Treasure scavenger hunt, kids color a pirate bandana or make a craft, pirate fest pancake breakfast, bring your water pistols for Saturday's water gun battle! Arrgh..a swashbuckling good time!
August 14-16- Chocolate Extravaganza!
A weekend of everything chocolate! Enjoy fun games, ice cream social, craft time and more! The entire family will have a wonderful time with our chocolatiers weekend!
September 4-6- Labor Day Weekend > 3 night minimum
Kick off the Labor Day weekend with your family kamping! Hershey Park is a great time for all! Enjoy our many kamp activities such as craft time, wagon rides, flashlight lollipop hunt and Bingo to help support kids with cancer.
September 11-20- York Fair
"America's Oldest Fair" There will be plenty to do for all ages such as music, games, food, carnival rides, agricultural exhibits and even livestock shows!
September 16-20- Hershey RV Show>3 night minimum
Come out and enjoy America's Largest RV Show! With over 21 acres of RV's to see, you will want to plan a couple days to wander around. There are many vendors, seminars and concessions available to make the day enjoyable.
September- October- The Life of Leisure
Time to wind down & enjoy plain old fashioned camping- a game of hoops or volleyball by day, relax by the fire at night. Watch the leaves change in the Autumn sun. Visit many fall festivals or farmers markets in the area, travel the Amish area in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch Country or other cultural historical sites- then enjoy a peaceful night's rest. Ahh- those memories!
October 8-11-Columbus Weekend/Car Show> 3 night minimum
Hershey's annual AACA Classic Car Meet. Book your site early, sites go fast!
October 16-18, 23-25- Halloween in Hershey
Come and enjoy the thrills of Hershey Park or relax at the campground with the famiily. Kids can enjoy craft time and wagon rides around the park. Don't forget your fishing poles to try your hand at catching a fish!
